what is marketing environmental analysis

Need help finding good resources on my assignment?

Create a product or service (do not select an existing brand) or select a product or service from the following list: mobile phones, video games, motorcycles, perfume, hair salon, toothpaste, Business Web Site Design Consulting service, online dating, auto body shop. 1. Using the resources of course, develop an environmental analysis, strategy marketing and marketing mix for this product. 2. Consider whether your selected product is affected by environmental factors (political, economic, Socio-cultural technological, competitive). If yes, how? 3. Include a description of the target market and positioning (how the customer perceives your product or service). Include a detailed overview of each element of the marketing mix (product, price, distribution, marketing and communications). I do not even know what the analysis Environmental marketing strategy and marketing mix average. Please help. Thank you, I do school online and I do not have textbooks.

"LOL" … Well, if this is an assignment of course, I would suspect you will find the definitions in your textbook, however, knowing what my marketing class was like it was easier to type the words in the search engine (Yahoo or Google or both) and see what happens. My interpretation is that, having selected your product or service they ask you to look at the place where you can market it (~ environmental analysis which would influence purchasing decisions ~ Would you do a poll to see if it would be a factor in this genre: male / female age, clientele, rural or town / city side .. ocean or desert … well populated or sparsely populated … rich or poor or do ok … the cultures of people or what else?) and decide the best strategy to market it (take a look at the WHO, the client would what is acceptable, but in a creative way to market them for best results) and mediums (marketing mix) that you use for the market … printed materials (magazines, newspapers), television or radio ads, billboards walking sandwich board, online flyers, new ideas (mousepad, announcements milk cartons) and much more! # 2 and # 3 should meet along the road, but keep in mind as you work on # 1.

In this revealing book Bruce Yandle has compiled eleven essays that address these concerns and provide the reader with an in-depth, market-based analysis of evolving environmental institutions and regulations. This book is essential reading for students and scholars of environmental economics, politics, and law.

Competitor Analysis Competitor Analysis

Competitor analysis in marketing and strategic management is an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and potential competitors. This analysis provides both an offensive and defensive strategic context through which to identify opportunities and threats. Competitor profiling coalesces all of the relevant sources of competitor analysis into one framework in the support of efficient and effective strategy formulation, implementation, monitoring and adjustment.Given that competitor analysis is an essential component of corporate strategy, it is argued that most firms do not conduct this type of analysis systematically enough. Instead, many enterprises operate on what is called informal impressions, conjectures, and intuition gained through the tidbits of information about competitors every manager continually receives. As a result, traditional environmental scanning places many firms at risk of dangerous competitive blindspots due to a lack of robust competitor analysis.
